The World of Warships French T10 Battleship: A High-Speed, Heavy-Hitting Damage Farmer

The French battleship line in World of Warships is renowned for its high speed and heavy-hitting damage potential. These ships are designed to farm damage, flank opponents, grab attention, hunt destroyers, and kill cruisers. However, their concealment isn't particularly impressive, especially at the T10 level.

One of the unique aspects of the French battleship line is the consumable system. The T9 ship gets a speed boost, fighter, and spotter in one slot, making it stand out among its peers. This allows players to fulfill multiple roles, including damage farming, flanking, and attention grabbing.

The Charles Martel and Henri IV are notable ships in this line, sporting 203mm guns at T10 and 240mm guns respectively. The heavy cruisers start from Algerie at T7, offering the same consumables as the previous tier but with the option to choose between DFAA or hydro and a separate fighter slot.

The La Gallisonere is a standout light cruiser, boasting decent rate of fire and French speed boost, making it the first French cruiser in the line with this feature. The Emile Bertin gets a 3x3 gun setup and hydro acoustic search, as well as 9km torpedoes that remain throughout the line.

French cruisers are known for their speed and damage farming capabilities, but they have relatively little armor and fewer mid-range torpedos compared to other lines. There are two eras of French cruisers in World of Warships, with the TX seeming to have the largest guns among them.

The Napoli has gained popularity among streamers, who refer to it as having the 'Henri pin' – a term that implies the AP shells are effective on this ship. However, I rarely see or hear about French light cruisers being played, which is unfortunate since they offer unique gameplay experiences.

As someone who struggles with playing cruisers (except for the Germans, occasionally), I appreciate the speed and damage farming capabilities of the French battleship line. While they may not be as well-known as other lines, these ships offer a thrilling experience for players who enjoy high-speed, heavy-hitting action.
